THE 'HISTORY' OF THE MEDALLION
The King Midas World Medallion is a modern version of the original Medallion -- a powerful and mysterious relic linked to the ancient conquerors dating to the time before Christ. Today, the original Medallion rests around the neck of Michael Tiranno, 'The Tyrant', and he never removes it.
The power of the Medallion lies in the precious gold that is was crafted from. While no one knows for sure, ancient tales tell us that the Medallion was possessed by a few of the most famous conquerors in ancient history.
As centuries passed, the Medallion came into the possession of the most powerful, ruthless and successful men in history. It's known at one time, the Medallion belonged to the real King Midas, who ruled Phyrgia (part of modern Turkey) in the late eighth century B.C. He added the symbol of his ruling kingdom on the Medallion. King Midas' power, and eventual isolation, was as a direct result of his love of gold as encapsulated by the Medallion.
The great Julius Caesar personally attributed his rise to the pinnacle of the Roman Empire to the Medallion. Soon after his conquest of Gaul (modern France), he had his craftsmen add the Latin words 'somnia. aude. vince' - in English, 'dreamed. dared. won.' The Medallion became his most precious possession.
To certain unique individuals throughout history, the Medallion has created an incredible thirst for power, and in many cases, actually bestowed such power upon them. But it seems to have always extracted a high price, allowing those that possessed it to rise to unprecedented heights of power and wealth, and then bringing them crashing to the ground in a trail of blood, death and isolation.
Now, the Medallion is in the hands of Michael Tiranno, 'The Tryrant.' Is he worthy of this power? Will he use the Medallion to break the circle of violence and death and build upon his modern empire, or will he follow his predecessors, the ancient conquerors, who horribly perished by murder, in battle or by betrayal?
Tiranno's Medallion is emblazoned with his mantra for power and success - 'To Dream. To Dare. To Win.' It is the symbol of his new modern empire, yet embodies the spirit of those that held the original Medallion before him.
Only 'The Tyrant' and Fabrizio Boccardi have access to the original relic.
